It is entirely possible that it has been mostly projection on your part, particularly if there was rapid apparent development within just a few days. That is speaking on the basis that the brain simply doesn't make significant adjustments quite so rapidly - as studies have shown with learned behaviors or learned information.

I don't know. I guess this doesn't change anything anyway... I am still going to talk to her, spend time with her, etc. but if it is option 1 and I have just been well, talking to myself, which I want to doubt because I know for certain she has been talking, but still possible, that sucks. A lot. And is also quite sad on my part.

also I have made it super clear to her, she is her own person, she doesn't have to love me at all, and that while that would hurt, I'd rather her be completely independent and happy then attached to me and well, not happy. I try to emphasis this to the max.

Best to stem bad habits early in case there are any, and it doesn't hurt to ask.

First: Sometimes tulpas don't talk as much. Some days you won't be as talkative as others. This is normal for literally any person on the planet.

Second: As mentioned with regard to learned behaviors/information before, these things take time to internalize to the degree that they are consistently present. For example, studying information for a test can help you remember during that test, but it needs follow-up reinforcement for it to stick long-term.

I'd been familiar with the concept for a long time. I came to realize that when I'd write stream of consciousness, there would be a steady ask and answer, and that the responses were often genuinely surprising. S'why I started working on Esehl.
